Has anyone recently stayed in this stopover? Is there still motorhone access to this car park and can you stay overnight? Do you know if there are limits to the lenght of stay?

Don’t know where that is in Wexford.
We normally stay in Ferrybank campsite over bridge. That €22 at present per night, showers not included. Price going up on 1st March I think.

Stayed one night - paddys night 2017.
Two drunk lads had a big 'discussion' while they smoked a fag or two. No threat to us or our van.
Early train trundled by at 8am.
Otherwise a good spot. Very central - 10 mins walk would get you to most places in town.
As far as I remember it was €2 to exit in the morning. I dont know the in and outs of how long we could have stayed.
Havent been back but its on the list !

+1 for Ferrybank. Literally a 5 minute walk from MH to the pub. Happy days

Thanks for the info. I have to go down for a couple of nights in April. If the carpark does not work out I can use Ferrybank.

Not 100% sure on the legality of the situation. I live in Wexford and you do see vans parked up from time to time. Most spaces would be a bit short for most vans but there are some lengthways along by harbour wall and you could park there. Tragic wardens off duty by 5:30 latest and I can’t see any other official giving you any problems. It is a great location right in the heart of town. Like everywhere if it is not abused it should be a good spot going forward. If it is, well, I can assure everyone that wexford council would be as bad or worse than any others around, and stop it completely.
In April I can’t see any issue with you staying for a night or two

Campsite is owned by Council so any threat to business there will be stopped

It has already been taken off the app a few weeks ago. As I said, Wexford co council would be as bad or worse than anywhere if it got used too much
