I would agree also.

There is an app from Aires camping car which is handy too but to be honest if you have All the Aires books that is enough.

If you have a satnav that allows you to add poi's you can download the relevant Archie's file which allows you to search by name etc.
If you don't use satnav the app mentioned by baguette is great.

In addition to Aires and Campsites we also like Camping Car Parks as we tend to leave the MH for long periods while we tour around on the scooter and they are more secure having a barrier entry , hard standing, electric, water& drains, sometimes washing machines and WiFi. They are always in prime locations close to main tourist places.

All the Aires book is excellent. Have been using them a long time now and rarely is the information wrong.

I download the camping car park app, and when looking at the places to stay , I click on the map icon but it brings me to a totally different location, example if I look at a place in Brittney and click locate icon it brings me to the south of France

This book is available in the bigger supermarkets, intermarche/Super U/ElecLec etc...
Although in French it is very good and lists Aires not in ‘all the aires’ books.....
there is no pictures of the sites , but co-ordinates and facilities listed as well as the maps of the areas ... costs about €10

Echo what everyone else says, all the aires is very good.
Get the park4night APP
also the CamperContact APP... both about €5 each for the paid versions but worth it.....
If using sites then ACSI is excellent too.

Good luck with the trip, wonderful country for Motorhomes.

We have used Camping car park on a few occasions when we happened to come across them. Some sites are better than others, last one we were on was only new and services were not hooked up. Still charged €10 for night but you feel secure behind barrier.Card can be reloaded with money using credit card at barrier.

Only used them twice last year. No not at the ones I was at. Card only, but it can be topped up at the machine. Both were good sites, close to amenities and not very busy mid June last year

In my own opinion the Spanish are much more hospitable than the French for those of us that cannot speak the native language, also the cost of food, drink, and fuel are only some of the reasons, why I prefer Spain .
