When you say 12v adaptor are you plugged into a 12 v socket or an 220 v inverter , either way that heat is a fire hazard really need more information on what you've got , photo would help too

Hi actually got it working but problem with 12v adapter that was in camper when we bought it the wires get very hot after few seconds?

Dave (eirebus) is right abour the dangers also,
Look locally for an auto electrician.
Good place to start looking is call or phone your nearest truck garage and ask them who the auto electrician is and usually they will let you know,
Make sure the correct rated fuse is used as thats your protection should the appliance draw too much amps the correct fuse should do its job
