I noticed today in Asda car park in Bangor that there are dedicated spaces for electric cars. Each space has a plug in point. This could be handy for anyone needing an emergency charge up.
Have a look at your local supermarket carparks and see if this is in other areas also.
(might be a handy wild camping idea :bandit: )

They had them in quite a few places on the IOM, i talked to a guy charging his car and he said you load up the card (like a credit card) and insert it, he said it wasnt compatible with a camper van charge as they worked differently, and then he got technical!!! He did say when he travels to England there are still quite a few that are free to use. The connection looked different to the motorhome cable.

Not sure why i posted this as it makes us none the wiser....

I could be wrong but I think they're free down here for now. They just haven't put a system in place to allow for charging.
