I’ve just booked Lynda ands I into Tollymore from the 28th Dec 2017 until New Years Day. I’m hoping to do a couple of good hill walks if the weather is good enough will there be any other craicers about ? If so come over and say hello.

Havnt been in Tollymore in 3 or 4 years now, has there been any changes and what is their fees now. I think it used to be £15 per night in winter with EHU.

I think closed between Halloween till about Xmas as redoing the pitches, to be fewer but wider.
Also I think bit more expensive and website says about booking and paying in advance.
We went there after weekend in Lumpers, as half term for kids both North and south it was packed, paid on the day, all EHU booked, but we got a space at first pitches on driveway down, before toilets.

The time slot for phoning is very short, very difficult to get through.
If not busy they are very relaxed about parking and paying next morning (though this may change)
The entrance gate closes around 5pm.

Hope to get down over christmas for some walking. If i cant get through on phone i'll just have to turn up and pay at gate.
I have always managed to get it without a booking although if its busy you can have trouble getting a spot with a hook up

stu8rty changed my mind from the weekend. Now booked Tollymore aswell 28th - 2nd
Booked Mon morning and was No 55 so not a lot of pitches left.
Edna liked the idea of having electric.
£18 at present.
