We came across this lovely camp site by chance last weekend. It's beautifully situated in the middle of the village in Easkey.
It's open all year round which is fantastic. If you are a surfer this is the place to visit. The community started up this camp site about two years ago. When you arrive you book in at the Community Centre and the lovely Margaret will look after you. The facilities are absolutely beautiful, lovely showers/toilets and camper kitchen. The showers cost €2 and they are worth it. Everything is close at hand. Pubs, shops, butchers, pottery shop, take-away and restaurant within walking distance. Lovely walks by the river and it's safe to cycle where you like. We had a lovely weekend and cannot wait to return. It's difficult to find a camp site that is open all year round so this is a gem.
