Brittany Ferries,Shame on you

I went to France last month with Brittany Ferries and was very annoyed when I went to the restaurant for supper and found a sign stating that their meat was sourced in south America, where Quality controle is much lower than the EEC and they are still using growth promoters and hormones in the cattle. Brittany Ferries are probably the most expensive Ferries to France and most of their Passengers are European and yet they will not support European Agriculture. I will not be supporting them next year. I came home with Celtic Ferries, I wonder where they but their meat?

The Craic was also better on the Celtic Boat with nice music and very friendly staff.

Just shows who is logged in, Maybe Local Authorities, County Councils and Camping sites are also and might take note of our plight.

Chausson good for you for asking them. I wish more folk would do that. We have enough beef in Europe and we need to support local industry and that includes the farmers.

Chausson I don't look upon it as support but I know what you mean. We have the best produce in the world on this island both North and South and I can't get my head around it why we need to get beef or indeed anything else from half way around the world.
