Hi Guys, hope ye are keeping well.
Even though Cahir is less than 40km from me I am not aware of any place to overnight there other than The Apple Farm Campsite which is only a few km outside Cahir. another option might be the new service area just up the road off the Motorway in Cashel, I don't know how safe it is there or even if it is possible to overnight there.

You could park in the carpark opposite the castle but it's pay parking and I'd say it could be noisy

If you have a dog you can't stay at Apple Farm, but do look in and their produce

Parson's green isn't too far from Chair and is within staggering distance from the village. Small animals on site to keep any kids happy and make sure you check out the river if you get there, you can see the springs bubbling up through the riverbed. Mitchelstown caves are just a short drive away and well worth a visit.
