dont know of any near newry, but there is a lovely cl called cusher valley or teepee village just outside markethill, tenner a night, electric, waste and fresh water on each pitch, very clean and friendly.
shower available too
HI Conor, that carpark in my opinion is not very safe, there have been a few thefts there,i live in Newry myself,so if you need somewhere safe you can stay on my private driveway,PM me if that suits you.
Wasn’t aware of that or I wouldn't have listed the spot. I've used it a lot of times when walking the canal path. I guess the same could be said for any public parking area. We have friends who parked their MH in Makro car park in Belfast, a short distance away from the bulk of the cars to avoid door opening marks on their van, only to come back out in half an hour to the MH broken in to. What can we do to avoid this; we're a target for any opportunistic thiefs=, it’s just the luck of the draw & how secure you can keep you van.

Nipper, thats what the dog in the van is for (although mine would hide if someone broke in) LOL.
Had planned night in Newry but couldnt find a spot....so went out to warrenpoint and lovely carpark right in middle town...sign says no parking longer than 10 hours so we fine (good few trucks parked up anyway, just the driving bit though), lovely public toilets and good selection of chippers, chips out of geneoa delicious but small enough portion and siliviya kitchen Chinese excellent. quieter carpark outside the town but barriers.
