Just testing to see if a2nyone is after a bargain :)
2013 TGB moped (red) with back box and 2 helmets (1 unused , 1 used twice) and a towbar mount carrier with ramp and straps for £500 ?
The wee bike is due its first mot this month but in great condition. I bought the carrier new and its in great order as well.
Im only selling as my health does not go well with riding bikes etc so whoever is quick enough will get a helluva bargain.

The price is firm BUT if you were to come at me with a decent DJI Phantom 3 with extra batteries we could talk :)

Regards
John

In short Ken , yes and at open book seller value. It other words, the vrt is calculated as a percentage of what revenue values the scooter at , not the amount that you paid. If you don't like the magic number, it must be paid in full and only then can you appeal the process for a new valuation.

Slightly different for bikes.
3 years old will be 50% of the engine C.C...... !
So, if it's a 50CC then the VRT will be €25..... so not so bad.

For bikes it is calculated at 2€ per CC up to 350 CC
After 350 CC it is another 1 € per CC
Then the sliding scale of depreciation comes into play
3mths to 1 yr = 10%
1-2 yrs 20%
2-3 yrs 40%
3-4 50%
4-5 = 60%
5-7 = 70%
7-10 = 80%
10-30 yrs = 90%
over 30 yrs =100%

Hi John
I'd be very interested in the Moped & Rack if its not sold. I'm down in Galway, if it was a thing you were heading off for a few days i could meet you & pay :-)
