Have approximately 40,000 miles done on our 2006 Burstner and somebody has told me to get the timing belt changed, Iooking for opinions please as I didn't think it was due to be changed yet.

every 5 years regardless of mileage i was told by my garage today, 250 plus vat, its worth getting done, if it goes it could be a few grand.

The timing belt went on me and am still trying to get it fixed and will most likely cost be me €€€€'s.
