Tough Mudder

I'm bringing my son up to this at the weekend, he's volunteering on Sat and running it on Sun, and am looking for a couple of overnight stops close to the venue at Loughcrew adventure centre. We have a pass for parking but they won't allow overnight parking even though he has to be there before 7 on Saturday morning. 🇧🇭 Any suggestions welcome.

The adventure centre is a bit of a drive from the Megalithic Centre and you probably wouldnt walk it (very narrow road). However, as you have a parking pass, the campsite at Loughcrew would be a good solution. Certainly worth giving Niall or Fechin a ring.

I had a quick look at Loughcrew Megalithic Centre but to be honest I don't fancy paying E25 just to park up for a few hours each night. I'd rather spend it in a pub or restaurant and get some value for my euros.

I dont know of a lot in the area. Ballinlough isnt that far away so it might be worth investigating.
