Hi all. Can anyone advise on overnight parking in Bray area. I parked up years ago at promenade but not sure if you still can.

We overnighted here a few weeks back. Plenty of spaces and, at 20c per hour pretty reasonable.

Whereabouts did you park overnight? Along promenade or where?

a couple of years ago we drove into Bray and looked for a parking space thinking of staying, one of the bouncers at one of the clubs came to us and advised not to park or stay overnight along the front, as in his words it all kicks off later and you wont get much peace!, he offered to let us stay in their car park but we thought better of his kind offer and moved on to Graystones.

Exactly, there are vans regularly parked in the car park at the Bray Head end of the Prom.

I was in Bray a few days ago (12th July for one night) & 4 Motorhomes parked at the Bray head & one along the front. I parked down at the harbour end as I arrived midday & it was literally the only place to park in the whole town. No problem staying over. Called into Greystones the next day & saw 3 MHs in the pier car park & very obvious no overnight signs everywhere. Space looked very tight with day car park users. I just parked up near St Davids School for a few hours - great tip I picked up on this thread & no need to worry about squeezing I to a car sized space.
