Attention. The Brains Trusts.
I am planning to walk some of the Beara Way over the August weekend and looking for stopover suggestions / advise for wild camping or Pub sites. Start from Lauragh finish in Castletownbere so for the following areas.

Kilmakilloge, Co. Kerry.
Ardgroom.
Allihies.
Castletownbere.

That must be 20-25 miles. Best of luck, some of that route is high country.

A little over 70 km around 40 miles. it'll only be a stroll to cool down after 350km on the Camino Primitivo in July :D

Back to the stopovers you may be able to stay overnight here , Allihies, Co. Cork 51° 38.042'N 10° 3.522'W.

EDIT: Sorry Sprinter, I'm mixing up Allies with Eyries which is where you would be turning off to go to Castletown bear.
I have driven this road several times and I am struggling to recall any parking spaces on this section.

Kilmakilloge Pier Lauragh, Bunaw, Co. Kerry. 51° 46.832'N 9° 48.325'W
Stayed here several times great pub with great pint, nice and quite when pub closes.
..
Castletown bear 51° 39.128'N 9° 54.518'W It may be possible but I have never stopped here, just driven through.
