Hi
My favourite type of camp site is forest parks, i doubt there is one in N.I that we havent stayed in over the last 12 months - (we camp all year round). They are great as you have all the camp site facilities,(we always take Murphy with us - or Murphy always takes us with him!!!). plus they are normally reasonably priced and great walks (helps the morning after a few too many glasses of pinot)
We would stay in the following frequently throughtout the year:
Castlewellan, Tollymore, Kilbroney, Drum Manor, Glenariff, Gosford..
We would like to start travelling round the island of Ireland, so if you know of any forest parks can you let me know. If we get enough we will get Ally to start a Forest Park Section.
Dont just read this post and not reply - everyone knows somewhere
Dee
