Ramble Inn Ballymena/Antrim

I was in the Ramble Inn on the A26 between Antrim & Ballymena last night & got talking to John the owner who I've known for years, we talked about motorhomes using there as an overnight stopover & he said he would welcome them with open arms as long as they used the bar or restaurant, they also run some great country nights & shows.. Also the food is great..

If anyone wants to stay just Speak to John in the bar (hes there most days & nights) & put a few £s over the bar & use the large carpark at the rear of the Bar...

Thought this was already a well used stopover for Motorhomers and has been for a long time.

John told me that Motorhomes seem to have stopped using it as much, he gets some repeat custom but not as much, he just wanted me to let it be known that he has no problems with motorhome overnighting as long as they use the bar etc..

A great spot if you're on the road or if you like a spot of country music...

There was a bit of confusion when it closed and then no one was sure if the new owners welcomed Motorhomes.

Just had a thought, I don't think they are on the App, I'll get them added.

Wully,

A 10% discount on meals for MHC subscribed members would be good? ;)

Call in & ask him Ally, you could give him more facts figures & numbers than I ever could, He's an easy man to talk to, tell him you were speaking to me & that will be your starting point, if you don't ask you don't get...
