What about pairing it up with DFDS Dewhaven to Dieppe there were some offers on this, and also LD Portsmouth to Caen , This is good for people who dont like the longer routes ..

Have you booked anything yet Jack?
We're also looking at booking in September too, going to keep an eye on the ferries over the next few weeks.
Our first trip across to the continent is in 2 weeks.

Talking to a mate of mine yesterday who worked for irish ferries for 30 years on the route to France. Pretty much all routes booked except the Cherbourg route to France. Maybe an offer available.

Just checked, no offers/codes.

Going out 5th Sept +/- couple days, returning 10th October +/- couple days.
Irish ferries €550
Stenna €481

Will wait and see if any promotions come along.

Irish Ferries do a Landbridge fare which combines Irish Sea and several routes from England to Europe. These are usually cheaper than buying two separate tickets. Last time I looked the tunnel was cheapest. AFAIK the other routes have a base fare based on max 6m length.

I booked for August as I couldn't find a cabin left on any ferries in July.

Out Brittany from Cork and return with Stena to Rosslare.

Used Nutt Travel.. I'm a newbie here. But always use them for my motorcycle trips from Norn Iron to Scotland.

They were a bit cheaper on Brittany and same as website for Stena.... but I had a discount code for 7% off on Stena which they matched.

Probably saved 100 Euro or so, bug better in my pocket.

They have many offers, like Motorhome for same price as a car to Scotland.

No connection other than I'm a customer and on their mailing list

I must get round to having a look and book something for September. It will be the first time I've gone to France in September.

Hi Jack, just been talking to a fellow camper here in Benidorm who comes from Swansea and is a regular user of the Dieppe route. He said it is and hour longer than Portsmouths three but eighty quid cheaper and very pleasent. There are several daily crossings in the summer and one a dqy in the winter,He also gets a pensioner discount but you have to contact the office to avail of this. How about motorhomecraic compiling a list of Ferries to and from Ireland Scotland wales and England and beyond to help with holiday planning.

Thanks nilrac for that info and I'll have a look,at it. I'm not a good sea traveler and I try and spend as little time at sea as possible.

Always found Nutt Travel pretty good, but just to let you know, that offer is a Stena offer, you can get it by any means of booking
