While doing a temp repair on my electric step today ( a missing plastic corner) i noticed that when the step is in the closed position it rattles around a lot, 2 bits of pipe insulation sorted it, one less rattle to trace.

Raganland just make sure the motor switches off when it is up as I put a small piece of plastic tubing on mine to stop the restyle and my motor burned out very quickly and I never heard it.
