Mileage is sometime a state of mind . which would you prefer low mileage low service ,or high mileage and high service, is there anything kills a diesel engine more then inactivity.
As the owner of a 15 year old sprinter with north of 200k , I can always replace the engine , but I cannot replace the body .

Don't mind about 100k miles, leave some room to add more miles over the next few years. Have a merc car with about 160k on it with no problems. Its more the wear and tear on the rest of the van I would be worried about.

We sell off our courier vans, Ducatto, Boxer at roughly 2 years/90K miles with a full years manufacturers warranty left for roughly £8.5K, these usually go to a dealer who then retails them on, Sprinters are in the region of £12K for the same age/mileage.
