We have often looked at the pier in Donegal but never stayed.
Have you ever used the grass areas off the lane to murvagh beach?

lovely place Murvagh, just would not be sure how safe it might be at night. A lot of teenagers having parties on the beach in Summer time. Mountcharles pier is a nice spot . great scenery, off the beaten track very quiet

Stayed here on a Friday night in August.
Big tarmac carpark beside leisure centre and river. Busy up to 9pm when leisure centre closed. Traffic noise from nearby main road.
Chemical disposal, grey water disposal, fresh water. I think there is CCTV in the car park
Apart from the weather almost felt like been in france.
Surprised that we were the only ones there.
Would have no hesitation on using it again

Thanks Marcopolo.

We have thought of it many times but have always been on our own and decided against it. Might be better if there was a group.
