You could try what worked on my PUG van conversion when all the central locking failed as advised on either this or Autosleeper site
Simply disconnect the van battery for a few hours (to allow all of the residual current to drain) and then reconnect (I left mine off for about 18 hours overnight)
When reconnected it worked fine the dealer wanted £50 just to put on a daio machine
Worth a try

Did you loose the Radio Code when you did that, David?
If so you would need to know it if you have to reinstall it.

Found the problem. 3 broken wires. I'll have to call a meeting of the concerned parties, do a risk assessment and a cost analysis. Get some hi vis vests. Cordon the area off and give 7days notice of intent to start work. In other words I'll look at it next week

THREE broken wires!!!!!!
Sorry but there is no way that you can do such major technical work without a full written report to Health and Safety office in triplicate (one yellow one blue one green copy) you keep the pink copy and the green copy will be returned in due course (after clearance of the Cheque)
Fees are calculated at 273% of independant cost estimate (plus VAT)
However we are pleased to advise you that we have almost caught up with the backlodge and should be able to give permission within 9 weeks and an inspector will contact you at that time to arrange a visit to oversee the procedure
Any attempt to do the work prior to getting the correct authorisation will carry either a fine of upto EURO 20,000 payable to the Treasury of Greece or placed under house arrest along with your spouse for 6 months and the vehicle sold to give to Greece (Germany has spoken)

:sorry:
