What you are looking at here is a home made sog total cost £14.00 and yes it does work just to tie up a few ends test in a box before fitting the micro switch is switched on when you move your opening handle on your

Charcoal filter fits on the inside of the fan or can be stuck to the outside but believe it or not I can't see what use a filter is ,I will post another photo of a he filter fitted

great stuff ,what kind of fan did you use ?
i,ve been thinking of doing something similar but haven,t found the right fan yet .

I got the fan out of maplans 12 volt 2" fan but I've been looking at stronger ones so will test this one first see how it goes , but might change it to a stronger one trial and error,
