I was in Halfords the other day and noticed you can get LED bulbs for your car / van are they worth getting i.e. do they give better visibility while driving

depends on the bulb, some are just bog standard LED's which wont give out any sort of beam but others are as good as possibly better than xenons.

I have tried the lot,dont as they have no proper dip as they just dim down and there is no proper beam and the wiring is on the wrong pins.
I have changed all others to led of ebay which are good,the 1156 with front lens is good for reverse lights .
