Adding POI,s to Tomtom in new ducato

Our latest van has a TomTom (econnect I think) factory fitted as part of the dash/ radio etc. I think is is an option on ducato from 2015 model onwards.

I would like to add the Archie's Aires file to it for France this year (like I have always done with our Garmin) but cannot find out how to do it. I know I can add each on individually but there are too many for that.

Has anyone been able to add a poi file list to this model of satnav?

I think to get your answer you should phone TomTom direct.I have done so in the past and found them to be most helpful.
A friend of ours who has gone to the last wild parking site and left behind a microdisc with 10years of sites all over Ireland and Europe and my TomTom wants to reconfigure it so I want to find out how to upload the info without wiping out the info
I will also talk to Him why understands all things and see if it can be made available here.

Thanks for the reply Sprinter.

I didn't think I would need to contact tomtom as it is fairly straightforward with garmin.
It might just be the case that I will not be able to do it at all.

If your friend says it is possible I would be happy to read how.

I add the archies list fresh each year as so many campsites and aires close down. I could just end up using the Garmin again...

With my tomtom sat nav you have to connect to their software via tomtom home on a pc, so possibly need to connect via laptop to drop them in.

Mark, same system and was able to add poi's. I'll go and check. I did have a problem in that I was using the wrong usb connection. Thinks it the one under the dash. Give me a minute.

Sorry Mark, I'll take that back. I could swear that I did it last year and 'craic map' is listed in the poi's. But I can no longer find any references or load the poi's you are looking for. I'll keep trying but it has beat me today.

Mark, it is the 5" Uconnection built in system. I had to do a factory reset in France when I lost the voice commands. Looks like it wiped the poi's. But I am now doubting that I ever had them loaded correctly.

I have been reading up on this and downloaded to software but it seems it is only suitable for updating maps and not adding pois.

I use this software to add all the MHC poi's to my Tomtom's but both are stand alone not built in.
