Brilliant deal. I had been using the 12gb 12 month version up til now. Works well in R.O.I and France, so I shall look to get one of these 24gb this year.
Does anyone know if this data sim https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0…TAGG&psc=1 has to be activated in the UK before use abroad or if I could just have it sent to me in Co. Limerick and use it in France and Spain? Thanks.

Thanks Davy, I thought that may be the case. However I've put the question up on Amazon and I'll see if I get a reply. Will be a great saving if it does work for me.

I have been using a combination of three pre-paid SIMs, 4G Huawei E5577 and 4g roof mounted low profile antennae (https://www.motorhomewifi.com) for a couple of years and find that the combination works very well. Thanks for the tip about 24gb cards. One of those will see me through the summer and save money.
PS bought the E5577 from Oman via ebay. Absolute bargain.

The uk feel at home has always been a throttled back service while abroad, you won't get the same speeds as a native version.
Any idea which one we could get in France ? And where?
Orange.fr seems to be the best.
Found the 3 ones severely throttled back for anything else than simple emailing.
I have 5GB of roaming European data on my southern phone and it receives 4G on orange France, it's super fast.......
So looking at a PAYG data only sim on orange.fr
Ok, thanks for that Mark, the 3 shop in Bloomfield shopping centre are selling 12gb cards for £30, I'll just get one there when I run out.
That's what I had to do too.

Try any orange shop in France. Take your passport.
