Gas

I have only two 6kg bottles and as I am new to the MH scene and had a few w/ends out its hard to tell yet. I know it will be a lot more than the caravan used as I am using it for the fridge etc but I am still on the first full bottle. A side note to this is I bought my first bottle at a caravan dealer as i was there getting bits and bobs (pre motorhome) and paid £24 for a 6kg. I went two weeks ago to a calor dealer and paid £18 for the same thing. The moral of this tale is to prepare in advance and get it from the dealer rather than a caravan shop/site.

Four weeks and counting, 3 continuous in France mostly on aires and long weekend at jubilee from a 6kg propane (with a tiny leak at screw fitting).

France in early May, mostly fridge and cooking. Hot water usually from kettle and little heater use.

check the seal on the bottle Ally , saw a couple of them split!

Found a leak at the fridge

That's what I thought, couldn't use that much gas!

The fridge was faulty when we got the MH and I changed it for a new one and fitted it myself whether I didn't tighten it enough or whether the connection has worked lose who knows, but at least the Gas Guy found it and we got to the problem. We didn't notice the smell of Gas as it was right beside and outside vent, probably a good thing!

The stuff is too expensive to have it leaking into thin air!
