I have only two 6kg bottles and as I am new to the MH scene and had a few w/ends out its hard to tell yet. I know it will be a lot more than the caravan used as I am using it for the fridge etc but I am still on the first full bottle. A side note to this is I bought my first bottle at a caravan dealer as i was there getting bits and bobs (pre motorhome) and paid £24 for a 6kg. I went two weeks ago to a calor dealer and paid £18 for the same thing. The moral of this tale is to prepare in advance and get it from the dealer rather than a caravan shop/site.

A bottle of gas always lasted AGES in our Caravan, and even in the Motorhome before it didn't seem to use much. But now I have two 11KG bottles and I don't think one bottle would last two weekends!
Got a gas expert coming tomorrow to check for leaks, but no smell of gas anywhere. Running fridge, hot water, cooker and heater on gas. But heating not on much this time of year and hot water only on when needed.
I paid today just over £27 for a 11.89 KG bottle

That's what I thought, couldn't use that much gas!
The fridge was faulty when we got the MH and I changed it for a new one and fitted it myself whether I didn't tighten it enough or whether the connection has worked lose who knows, but at least the Gas Guy found it and we got to the problem. We didn't notice the smell of Gas as it was right beside and outside vent, probably a good thing!
The stuff is too expensive to have it leaking into thin air!

I have a propane bottle but we noticed it was a Butane regulator, Butane is 28MBar and Propane is 37MBar, worth checking to make sure. Our kettle now boils in less than half the time!
