Winter Sun Holiday

Was surfing the net last night for a seven day break to the sun before Christmas and came away with a pain in my brain, Booking a Ferry and taking the Motorhome is much easier.
Anybody know of or got a good deal with any travel agent lately to the Canaries?

The Canaries isnt that warm in the run up to Christmas, but a lot warmer than here in summer, with it being an island in the Atlantic there is always a cool breeze and a higher probability of rain

I know John, I have been there in November and January but I don't know of any other alternative seen that we are only taking a week off and I don't fancy any long haul flights for a while.

South of Spain or Portugal is always good for the winter and a shorter flight

Would it be as good as the Canaries at that time of year?
