Split up!!

"To our Fans and Friends: As R.E.M., and as lifelong friends and co-conspirators, we have decided to call it a day as a band. We walk away with a great sense of gratitude, of finality, and of astonishment at all we have accomplished. To anyone who ever felt touched by our music, our deepest thanks for listening." R.E.M. "

A band I have loved for years. I must be getting old :)

Don't fret.
EVERYBODY HURTS SOMETIMES. But THE END must come no matter how many times someone says LET'S STAY TOGETHER.

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Jeez they must be a good age now? There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth from Dave fanning on 2fm earlier.

New ones on me and I have 18 of their albums, but I'll check in case I missed some of them.

They were a class act....

Love Country Feedback and Find the River :D

Let's hope they do a Crowded House on it and we'll have another 10 years of farewell gigs

LOL lets hope so!

Find the River... Brilliant tune, in fact of their best album too IMO, Automatic for the People.

I bet we get years of "Best of" albums now.
