Material for wide mudflaps

As many will be aware, I have recently made extra wide mudflaps for our motorhome. They have been made from heavy duty rubber sheet which is very difficult to source. It is black and about 10 mm thick.

I have now covered over 500 miles with them fitted and have experienced no problems. They have definitely reduced the amount of road dirt etc being sprayed on the front of the wider body section.

I have some of the heavy duty rubber sheet left over if anyone would like it. There is more than enough to make another pair. I don't want anything for it as it cost me nothing to start with. Just come and take it away.

I also have a template for Renault Master.

Here is a photo of mine. It is difficult to see them against the tyre but you should get the idea.

Post below or PM me if you want it.

sorry to hear that mark its a nice van ..... on a serious note you can buy a plastic door mat that looks like sprayaway mud flaps and could be cut to your template but i have only seen them in green not black which we would need maybe someone has seen them in black and can advise

I think some of those mats are too thin and flaps made from them curve back in the wind as you drive.

The conveyer belt stuff is what I used.

Ally yes there is enough left to make a couple, I have only recently got them cut out. If you want it then I will drop it round once I'm back.

Worth a try Ally but we found the Renault wheel arch much easier to do then the fait/peugeot.
There seems to be less to fasten into.
