Cherbourg overnight parking 8/10/16

Looking for an overnight parking spot for Saturday 8/10/16 in Cherbourg for an 8m tag axle.
We will be stocking up with vino etc in the Auchan supermarket just outside Cherbourg on Saturday the 8th and want to park up for the ferry on the 9th.

Anyone used any of the options circled on the pic attached, would they be suitable, any other suggestions gratefully received.

I never stay in or near the port.
The Aire at Bricquebec is only 15 minutes out the R900

Plenty of space.

A friend of drives a truck covering Europe,
They are not allowed to park within an hour of Calais, Cherbourg, Roscoff etc because of the risk of stowaway's,

I'd stay out the road in the aires that Mark is suggesting,

We stayed at the Municipal campground in Cherbourg. Basic, but walking range of shops and restaurants.

There is a aire with fresh water,waste water a toliet emptying machine right at the port beside the submarine museum.It's free to park overnight.

Another vote for Bricquebec. Lovely aire by a lake with a village a half mile or so away and you are lucky there will still be some hazelnuts left in the trees surrounding the aire.
Here's a humorous clip of it from last year- can't remember if she made something to go with the beans ha ha .

Yes, that is the Municipal. It has good showers, etc..
