Hello JMAC. No,You do not and i also forgot to mention that you do not need a waterways ireland services card to use the shower as it is in the toilet area. I wasnt paying any attention to wheter the toilets are left open at night as i had a skinfull by that time.

We were in Belleek on Sunday and there was a festival going on. Had originally planned to stay at the marina but the road down was littered with (parked) cars! Instead we went to Muckross, fab spot.

Stayed at Belleek at the weekend, great spot. Toilets, hot showers, water points on the jetty, chemical waste disposal and bins (all free). Short walk to the village, great pubs and plenty of food outlets. Will definitely be back.

We went to investigate this stopover yesterday - the barrier (2m) was closed, luckily we were in the car!! Looks like a lovely spot by the river, disappointing though if you turned up and the barrier was closed.
