We use a Garmin nuvi satnav and find co-ordinates are usually spot on to reach your destination. It has four different formats and I have no problem changing. The only thing I can't figure out is when the co-ordinates are expressed in this format: XX.XXXXX and -Y.YYYYY There are no N,S,E or W and the second coordinates starts with a 'minus' sign. It's not an option on the Garmin.

I am probably just being stupid but anytime I google how to convert it is seriously out of my league of maths!!!

Can anybody help please?

So many different formats and I think google has their own, confuses me also.
