If that's where the heater is situated then yes you will have a lot more heat in that area

Reading what some Bailey owners, who also have their heating boiler under their bed, have been saying and by our own experiences it would be quite normal, ours is under the sink and when we open the door there is a huge amount of heat. Quite alarming at first.

I also have a Chausson and there are 2 outlets under the lower bunk at the rear. I find that there is a lot more heat there as a result. I also found that the pipe runs through the storage area and has a T and an elbow at the 2 outlet points. The pipe had pulled out of the T so all of the heat was going up through the storage into the lower bunk. Might be worth checking the pipes under the bed, that is assuming the layout of your Chausson is the same.
