Sitting in an aire in Croisic (near St Nazaire). It's beside the station and perfectly adequete. €6 for the night and usual services available.
Round the corner, facing the pretty little harbour and beside all of the shops and cafes there were 8 Motorhome bays (€8 for 24 hours). Beautifull spot.
Ordinary car parking only now.
When in the tourist office I expressed our disappointment that the bay's were no longer there. Yes she replied, but one or two motorhomers were emptying their waste into the harbour.
Without condoning these acts, interesting thing is that most of my boating life sea going vessels simply pumped waste into the sea or harbour. I dare say not much has changed at either location, except the Motorhome transgressors wether poo or parking are high profile.
So it is not just a problem for us in Ireland.
