Hi There - I parked up in Ballina last year along the river with no problems . Keep to opposite side frm the town - google church road and you will find the spot . Enjoy.

Someone told me that motor homes can park along the riverside in ballina can anyone let me know if that is true
If you google "Crockets in the quay" you will see it's a pub/restaurant (very good it is too) and across the road is the quay. Go through the big gate and there is tons of room up by the boat trailers. Overnight there tons of times, quiet and peaceful.
It's a bit out of town mind, 20 minute walk.

Thanks for all your help but when I checked the weather forecast for Wednesday decided to give it a miss but wouldn't mind trying the aires at crossminela or the pub at the quays hoping to do the waw again sometime soon it's hard to beat
