New dawn for the UK in light of the #brexit vote out.
I think in the long run it's brilliant for Britain, short term pain for maximum gain.

Long term, best thing Britain ever did.....
Not so good for us Paddys unfortunately as we’re tied to the UK’s shirttails.. like it or not ! ...
but the truth is that Britain doesn’t give two hoots about the ROI and we will simply become collateral damage.

I don’t agree that it is the best thing for Britain, but I do agree that they don’t give a S#%^e about Ireland... so it’s up to us to make them think about us

If the UK negotiations lead to a non deal because Ireland vetoed it, then believe me Ireland will suffer greatly at the hands of the UK under WTO rules with tariffs that will cripple Ireland, we must remember that the UK is our biggest export market... period.

Anyway, this is MotorhomeCraic, and politics certainly isn’t any Craic !

Anyone finding positives from the outcome of Brexit needs their head examined. Single mindedly and blindly stumbling into an abyss due to lack of information . The vox pops that emerged during the week from the British public summed it up nicely. Large doses of ignorance with a touch of sectarianism thrown in for good measure. Particularly the older lady who said * "Ireland deserved what it got because we were just making trouble by not agreeing with the vote" or words to that effect. *I'm paraphrasing.

Folks before you start taking sides you should consider why the common market was formed, it was a military alliance to stop what had happened twice in this century, WAR Death Destruction and it first war started because one cousin did not agree with the other. Look at the number of deaths for the first war and include all the Chinese and indian workers, staggering . The second was land and power. Now we havnt had any trouble in 73 years . Yes the common market has grown too big and definitely needs reforming ,this would be better from the inside and not from afar. Perhaps if Mr Churchill had not hated DeGaulle so much U.K. would have been in from the start and it wouldnt have cost so much. Even at this late hour it could renagociated and save us billions .then we could get on with living together as time heals. Look at us now and then remember times past.
