Planning the route to the West coast in July and am seeking recommendations for an Aire or Campsite off the A84 Nr Avaranches, Fougeres or North of Rennes?

I have an All the Aires (4th Edition) but would welcome any advice or recommendations.

Thank you!

The Aire at Fougeres is basic but fine for a one night stop.
I can recommend it if you want to visit a great chateau. The Aire is directly below the battlements.
The tour could take up to half a day.

Yes, second that.
The Fougeres aire is basic but it's fine.
Nice town with very nice chateau and good walks up by the bowls club and lake.
If you need shopping the intermarche is on the way in, quite a walk out if you're parked.
Aire tends to fill up quite quickly with the continental vans, so aim to arrive early'ish

We stayed at the Aire in Avranches, situated behind the music school, can walk through school or around the side and centre Ville is 5 mins walk up the road. Slightly sloping need levellers. Free to stay, and there is an Aire de service, we did our grey water and emptied toilet cassette.

Also in La Turballe, the campsite near Super U was booked up, but an Aire close by, we have older Aires of France book, Paid €7.20 at barrier for one night, few mins walk from Harbour/ restaurants.

Also stayed in Talmont St Hilaire in car park area near castle. I think paid similar price there too. Also stayed in Yelloh Village, Le Littoral, ACSI, though you won't get discount in July also in Talmont St.H great pools indoor and outdoor.
