Enjoying great hospitality in Carrigaholt . parked up overlooking bay. Lovely pubs , great Guinness in Keanes and fantastic pub/restaurant The long Dock. Takeaway for late nite eats. Seriously worth a stop off.

It is in West Clare close to the Loophead lighthouse, lovely fishing village, the long dock always gets very positive reviews.

We did Loop Head Lighthouse, Kilkee and then stopped off for overnight in Carrigaholt overlooking the bay. Keanes shop and pub was lovely. Had excellent meal in the Long Dock. just pop into Patrick in the post office and he will advise best place to park. he also sells fresh veg, duck eggs and has a large amount of books which he gives away free.
