When we bought our first motorhome we were driving it home for the first time when the driver of another motorhome traveling in the opposite direction waved.
We waved back, but decided that they must recognise the vehicle and not the occupants.
Our first trip out, passed two more motorhomes and got two more waves.
Now we thought there was more to this.
After chatting to others on campsites we were brought up to speed on "the wave"..
After this we now wave to every motorhome we see (does confuse them when I am in the car mind you)and most wave back.
We have noticed that sometimes only the driver waves in a raised hand way & sometimes both front seat occupant wave. Sometimes we get a two handed wave from the passenger. There are also the times that no-one returns your wave but I put this down to them being new like we were.
Do you wave or not & how do you do it?
