Cobra alarm immobiliser

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for some help please.
We have just purchased a 2004 Hobby with a Cobra security system. We were packing up to go away, turned the key in ignition and nothing..Took the key out and the system went into theft mode. Alarm screaming away.....The alarm won't go off even by using the alarm fob and the key in the ignition. The only way we can stop the alarm is by disconnecting the battery. However on reconnection the alarm goes off again. We have tried to reset it but it's not responding. Turning the ingnition on makes no difference the alarm still goes off and obviously the van won't start. Would anyone on here have any ideas or failing that know a cobra agent in the south of Ireland. Thanks in advance.

Could try

O'BRIEN AUTOMEDIA - UNIT 1S - KCR INDUSTRIAL ESTATE - KIMMAGE - DUBLIN 6 - PH (086) 4079694

who mention Cobra on their website.

Might need a new battery in the key fob or does it also open the doors.

Thank you folks, we got it going. The main battery was dead, think my alternator is on its way out

Glad you got it sorted. Hopefully it's just the battery that needs replaced.

Great news.
That's a relief I'm sure.
Enjoy!
