Plumbing fitting

Anyone recognise this type of lever valve? It's on the outlet from my waste tank. It has 3/4 written on it but I don't know what it's 3/4 of cause it Dosent fit any of the 3/4 fittings that I have.
It has a female thread at the bottom so I want to make up a hose to screw into it.
Be handy the odd time that you find a drain but can't drive over it or if you were on a site that had a waste drain at each hard stand

This firm are well regarded as suppliers to the Motorhome, caravanning and boating communities.

Worth a scroll through their catalogue.

Thanks Davy
I've being googling plumbing fittings and it seems to be a 3/4 inch gun barrel fitting.
I now have to find something that will screw into it

3/4'' BSP (British standard pipe) I would think.

Exactly something like that except the inside thread on the gun barrel fitting is smaller than the brass.
I need a steel to copper adaptor then a nozzle.

Might be easier to put a bucket under it :D

Would it not be easier to simply change the tap, leave the tank fitting in place fix on a short length of grey pipe to a tap like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Moto…SwcdBWRLkl
mounted or clipped in a highly get at position. The grey waste pipe 28mm can be push fitted on the end of the pipe when you cant position the tap over the grate.

It worked for me when I did something similar

that's not a bad idea. I'll have to have another look under it tomorrow and see how easy that would be

That looks like a standard 3/4 in gun barrel ball valve. Drive round to your local plumbing supplier and you will get any sort of fitting you require. If you go in the motorhome you can check to make sure that whatever fittings you get will do the job.

Good job, however watch the small bore of the extension as it will make it slower to drain. Our Autosleeper had very small outlets for fresh and grey. It took for ever to empty. We also took great care not to let any food particles drain from the sink into the waste tank to avoid clogging. Bad design.

Worth draining through the original fitting from time to time. You can't beat the German vans for emptying like a horse :D

this is just for the odd time I can't get directly over the drain and the site I've booked in france says it has a drain and tap at each pitch so it'll save me from moving.
the rest of the time I'll just be opening the original valve and it'll fly out

Very True Davy, the one I showed you would go straight into the ball valve and would take a 1" tail pipe, (the photo wasn't to scale)
