I live out in Skerries, Most weekends there is motorhomes parked up along the south strand, just south of the public toilets.
Google maps won't let me place a pin and share it for some reason, but if you see the map below the area marked green is where they park.
There was a water tap at the public toilets, but its been soon long since I walked past that I don't know if its still there.
If you want to know anything let me know, if I remember this evening I will drive past on my way home from work and see if the tap is still there.

One thing about Skerries is the area which Browners777 has stated is that the bays are normal car ones and if you have a longish van you may need to reverse into it to keep your overhang away from the road.

Thanks for the local knowledge on south strand parking (Browners 777), and buiochás also to The fat controller re motorhome overhang hazzard in car spaces. We're intent on going to Skerries to spend a few days with our children who both live in Dublin. We spent an overnight in Skerries last year (apartment), but this is our first outing with our recently puchased Burnstner. Keep you posted on our return. By the way, there's always room for a few motorhomes to overnight in our back yard here in GaothDobhair.

Skerries is a lovely spot and very safe. We live in Dublin and regularly overnight in Skerries with our 3 young children. There are usually plenty of other motorhomes around and never any trouble. We're actually staying there tomorrow night as we like it so much. Fingers crossed for a bit of sunshine
