has anyone being to Chateaubriant. it's our twin town so wouldn't mind stopping over.
the only site i can find looks like a kip, only 1 power point, one hose for water and no waste or toilets.
the rest of france is so well catered for that there must be somewhere to stay but i cant find it

It has been many years since we were there. Not the most exciting town of i remember correctly.
There are much nicer towns to stop in the area.

Fougeres Has a great castle which is worth doing.
Parts of the town are quite steep and may not be ideal for everyone.
The Aire is beside the castle but is basic. One tap which I wouldn't fill may tank from and a drive over drain. Fine for one night if you have a tankful of water.

Les Eppesses is a but further down. The municipal site is nice or you could go to pay du fou.

La Roche Bernard is a lovely place not far off your route.

Hopefully this is not the one you found. There are 2. One near an Intermarche fuel station close to the D771 and this one;

https://www.google.ie/maps/dir…4709?hl=en

Rue de Tugny has a Service Point in the car park of the Municipal Campsite, has electricity and showers in season.
