Never out of trouble...sorting out the motorhome before june for trip to france and today went to check the fridge. Lit fine and then went out as soon as I released the knob.

Went out opened the vent and disconnected the assembly. Cleaned the thermocouple end...made sure it was in the flame area but no...still same will not light once knob released....

With herself hoding in the switch had a look at the flame and it look blue and clean...

Any suggestions ??

If I need a new thermo couple who around cork could do it for me???

Should add its a Electrolux RM6270/6271/6290/6291/6360/6361/6400/6401

Thanks

Donagheys do a good courier service so you are not going to be stuck,

I don't know what the courier service is like from Anchor point,

You have enough time to sort it before you go so hopefully all goes to plan

Enjoy France

Had a problems with two domestic thermocouples and it was the other end that was giving trouble. Cleaned and retightened connection.

Great stuff.
Just asked because I have 2 fridges (well 2 campers -just changed and still have the 2) I could have given you the thermocouple from one to get you out of trouble for departure, but no doubt Horans will get you sorted.
Enjoy the break and safe travelling.

Sometimes you need to hold the knob for 30 seconds as it takes a while for the pilot light to take hold try holding it on for 30 -40 seconds
