Hi,
As a newcomer to the motor home scene ......!
These might be stupid questions but is there a compiled list of Irish Aires or Waterways Ireland stopovers anywhere? How does one go about using Waterways Ireland facilities if thats possible?
Rgds.
Peter

Waterways Ireland are on the Craic Map and also a list on their website.

To use WI facilities you buy a card which has been posted a few times to MHC, most recently here:

Would that be the new Aire in Castleblaney just through the gate to the Lough in the town centre near the play park.
I have been looking at it regularly as I am it the town 2 days a week baby sitting and I thought it was a strange looking car park the way it is laid out.
Not very level for motorholmes ??

Castleblaney Aire

Hopefully these photos of the new aire in Castleblaney have uploaded OK.
2 normal size car park bays are marked for motorhomes and a sign up in the new car park at the children's play park.
Sign posted from the main street in to the park at lough muckna.
The council have made an effort but the planer is obviously not a motorhome owner judging by the size of the bays.
The down side is the barriers are now locked in the main carpark at supervalue. I had to park out the road and carry the groceries back to the van. I have emailed the supermarket about this and waiting on a reply.
