I know that the car park behind the Super Value Supermarket has a number of no motorhome camping signs.
Silver Strand Beach has a height barrier.

There are many wee side roads that run down to the coast, most have enough room for parking at the end. The further you head out the coast road the less populated it gets. Most of the beach carparks have height barriers. You will definitely get a good spot.

If you are willing to go out as far as inverin there is a road to the left just past the petrol station, siopa an phobail, parking at the bottom of it. I use to eat my lunch there and never met another car.

Aye, ya could be a bit bit. If you look for colaiste Lurgan on Google maps you will see the road down to the graveyard. This is between spiddal and inverin. The esso petrol station is across the road from it. East of the petrol seems like a better spot on street view compared to my original place. Regarding views, both places are looking across galway bay to the Burren. In fairness there are so many wee piers along the coast you will find a place.

I would not be a familiar with furbo as I would be with the far side of spiddal. All I do know is that the road would be busy at night. There are signs up on google street view but cannot make them out.
