Several men were in the locker room of the gym when a cell phone on the bench rang.
Gavin put it on speaker and began to talk. Everyone else in the room slowed down to listen, out of curiosity.
"Hello?" Gavin started.
"Hi honey, it's me. Are you at the club?" came a woman's voice.
"Yes."
"So I'm doing some shopping and I found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $2,000; is it okay if I buy it?"
"Sure, go ahead if you like it that much," Gavin responded.
"I also stopped by the Lexus dealership and saw the new models. I saw one I really liked," explained the woman on the phone.
"How much?"
"$90,000, I think."
"Okay, but for that price I want it with all the options," Gavin demanded.
"Great, thanks honey! Oh, and one more thing. I was just talking to Portia and found out that the house we wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $1.25 million for it."
"Well, then go ahead and make an offer of $1 million. They'll probably take it," Gavin said nonchalantly. "If not, we can go the extra 250 thousand if it's what you really want."
"Okay, honey, you're the best! I love you so much!"
"Bye. I love you, too." Gavin hung up. At this point, the other men in the locker room were staring at him in complete astonishment, mouths wide open.
He turned and asked, "Anyone know whose phone this is?"
