If C&W isn't your thing and you're not going to vantastical (have I spelt that right) another option would be the Jazz Festival in Doonbeg Co Clare. It's a great long weekend with about 30 FREE gigs held mainly in the pubs in the village.
Doonbeg has 2 or 3 places where wild camping is accepted, ranging from the Main Street it self which can be a bit noisey to the pier and Carpark the other side of the bay to the pier both of which are about a 15/20 minute walk to the pubs.
