Saw this place on a recent stay on the North Coast. Just beside Juniper Hill. There were 5 or 6 motorhomes on site at the time.

Does anyone have any information on costs or facilities. Can't find anything on-line.

Jamie the causeway coast as enquirer about here would be a prime example of the exact opposite to what you are doing and trying to achieve

Been there but wouldn't go back , although it's a great spot .
Had bad experience with owner and just felt she didn't deserve our business

Thanks for the advice, although Wendy has now had her yearly trip to the wine bar. So no need to worry for another 12 months.

Running any business can be hard especially a new business or a business under new management. I know from previous experience that once a good reputation has been achieved as long as standards don't drop, word of mouth a loyal customers will keep the business going.
But the hard part is making people aware of what you have and what you are offering. Marketing through various means including an easily found website would be very important unless the business has the luxury of a very loyal client base.
And whilst I wouldn't comment about any individual business I think politeness, curtesy and helpfulness should be a basic requirement for any business owner.

Sunny with a nice sea mist here today which is an improvement on the grey and wet last 2 days and as we tend to get the weather first hopefully the sun will be coming to you all next.
Regards Jamie

All of those and more were missing!

The best option if you really need a site in Portrush are both Carrick-Dhu and Juniper Hill, the council run ones. My only gripe about them is that at times of special events such as NW200 and air show the prices are more than doubled for the whole weekend, although it's better than the minimum of a weeks stay which the private sites demand!

I too stayed here once at NW200 time & wont be back again, as said already all normal business politeness was missing... (eg walking around the site telling people it was time they were in bed at 10pm) This could be a really good wee site if run well...

We arrived with young children to be told to park right beside the road, when we complained they put us on the most uneven ground that couldn't be sorted with ramps and told not to park within 6m of the caravans due to fire regs. Within 15mins they then allowed a caravan to park so close my hab door actually touched their van on opening, not good when you have a German van and the door is on the opposite side to most. When we complained they just said they have nowhere else they can park. We packed up and moved on not having been on site for more than an hour. There were other minor issues which they were not keen on helping to resolve as well.
