Shameless advertising

Our campsite has been designed by us, "campers ourselves" does it make a difference? Well we think it does, we believe we offer a bit more for a bit less.
Some examples;
Prices for a pitch in April €12 includes 2 people, extra children €3 each,
Electric, optional, some don't want or need it but if you do want it it is 16 amp and €3,
Hot showers, free, no tokens, no push buttons, loads of hooks, grab handles, a seat and loads of space to get dried, no more putting on wet clothing on wet body parts!
Extensively refurbished shower block,
Wifi, free,
Dogs, free,
Sea views, free,
Pubs, restaurants and shops within a 10 minute walk of the campsite - yes,
Excellent scenery, walking, cycling, fishing, golf - yes,
Polite and helpful hosts, mainly yes!
Sharing the campsite with mobile homes/statics, no we only have 20 pitches and they are only for tourers,
Laundry facilities, including large washer & dryers, free hot water for hand washing, iron and ironing board and long lines available free - yes,
Undercover bike shed - yes,
Indoor washing up point with hot water, a kettle and a fridge - yes
Flat hard standing pitches - yes.

We have just had the busiest March since we took over the campsite 2 years ago and we hope this trend continues for the rest of the year.

If any of you are in the area and just want to pop in and see what we have done to the campsite in the last 2 years you'd be more than welcome and if you don't want to stay I can advise on some safe wild camping spots in and around the area.

Doonbeg, Co Clare, 1 hrs drive from Shannon, within an hour of the cliffs of Moher and the ferry from Kerry.

End of shameless advert, thanks for reading it.
Regards Jamie.

From the sounds of what you have done and offer you deserve to be at capacity all year long. Hopefully I will get down your way someday.

We were there March 18th for the weekend and as usual enjoyed it. Not a word of a lie in Jamie's post. Great work by Amanda and himself. Lovely site.
Don't just take my word for it - go and see for yourselves

Thanks Liam, you're welcome anytime so long as you don't keep getting new motorhomes and giving me campervan envy.
I see you've seen our Facebook post about the new addition, musical loos.
We have now placed a bucket and long window washer next to a water point so people can clean their windows if they wish. Not a big or expensive change but we hope it reflects that we do and think about everything to make the campers as comfortable as possible.
Regards Jamie
